Breakdown of my recent FB Live video. Ended up covering “Yes I Will” by Vertical Worship and “Christ is Enough” by Hillsong Worship. Prayer. Encouragement to be a people that stands firm in Christ, despite our circumstances. How we can be honest and go to God in prayer. Read Matthew 26:36-46ESV and stopped to talk about how Jesus prayed to God that there might be another way but then right afterwards said, your will be done (paraphrase verse 39b). Shared about my unbelieving spouse and what that has looked like so far.
Thoughts, Prayers and Just Because It’s Friday! Episode 1
This is what I wrote on Facebook before I went live May 10, 2019: It’s a beautiful day here in South Korea. I’m about to head out to an event in a few but it’s been on my mind to share some of what has been going on lately. A whole lot. Actually, I’m probably not going to go into all of it because I want this to be short (well under 30 minutes is that good????!) AND encouraging because- let’s face it- we ALL have a LOT going on these days! Let’s choose to move forward though with an attitude of prayer (communication with God) and expectation to SEE and JOIN HIM in what He is already doing- all around us!! Amen? AMEN!!

Youth Praise & Worship Team happens during Youth Group Tuesdays. I use that time as a ‘hands on’ time to disciple the next generation of worship leaders by giving them opportunities to lead worship, the team and a mini-Bible study & prayer before ending our time together.

We moved to South Korea from the US.

“Yes I Will” by Vertical Worship cover. This song is special to me because we are saying, YES I WILL. I CHOOSE to praise. I CHOOSE to glorify you Lord despite the circumstances because you are still Lord. And you still reign. So whatever is going on in your life- it may not be what was expected or planned because that happens a lot- but believe me God is still doing a work. He is still doing something. Because He is always in control and nothing goes past Him. So you know and we can choose to get on board and submit to His will and so when I hear this song and when I sing this song it’s like yes, Yes I Will.

“Christ is Enough” by Hillsong Worship cover. No turning back. That means when things don’t go your way, you can’t be out of the situation just because ‘I don’t like it God!’ You CAN be hurt and you CAN be upset and you CAN ask -God please change it! Yes, absolutely, God wants you to talk to Him (that’s called “prayer”)! Once you decide (to get married) let’s be a people that stands firm. No turning back. No turning back. I want to be that person.

God sends us (through the Army)… kind of like missionaries. (Read “Happy Veterans Day!” to see how I continue to serve from the TOP!) We move around all over the place. And we meet people and I just think, God sends US. We are a king of missionary going about from place to place called by God to go to this place or that place and to go and do what He’s called us to do right there in that place. Right now I’m in Korea and there are people here who need encouragement, who need Biblical truth. They are getting that but I also give my 2 cents based on what God has showed me and what it has done in my life. We can impact the people around us and we can encourage them to move forward in Christ and to read their Bible. We can get to know God because He is one to be trusted. That is what I get when I read the Bible, I see how He has been faithful, He is just and that He has a plan all the way from the beginning to the end.

Read Matthew 26:36-39 and elaborated on verse 39. 39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”
You can ask God to change things. Jesus submitted to God and His will. (Read “When you are struggling” to read how I dealt with a trying time in the past.)
(22:15) minutes
Not experiencing contentment with your life? You can pray about that too. God CAN change your heart. He will do that, over time. Ezekiel 11:19-20 ESV “19 And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” Hebrews 8:10. Proverbs 21:1ESV “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.”

My own personal prayer that has not been yet answered…. and what that looks like. Check it out by watching the video!
His ways are not our ways.
His thought are not our thoughts.
God’s vantage points is much higher than ours. He can see more than we do.
For He knows the plans that He has for each of us.
How does this work out in our life…..
What gives me comfort is in seeing how God works….
I didn’t get to say that because of my husband’s questions, him trying to convince me that I had faulty thinking etc.
Do not be unequally yoked.
I started digging into the Bible to answer my husband’s questions about God.
