Check out my first blog post contribution to the ongoing blog series published by Baptist Women In Ministry (BWIM), “A Women’s Lectionary for the Whole Church” by Rev Dr. Wil Gafney.

"A Women’s Lectionary for the Whole Church, Year W Devotional Series, Epiphany IV" by Sejana Yoo can be read here:

A personal note about my experience with BWIM:

I thank Baptist Women In Ministry (BWIM) @baptistwomen because this organization (and the people I have met through their book clubs, mentoring group, equipping Zoom calls, and participation in the annual conference) have helped me to see and learn from other female ministers in action, providing networking opportunities and community for when I have had questions.

I have found what BWIM offers has been both practical and informative in my journey as a woman in ministry and current seminary student ‘exploring more formal ministries of service’ including pulpit supply. Not all of the women I have met through BWIM think the same on various theological issues. I appreciate hearing the different perspectives of women who serve God and God’s people in a variety of ways. Thank you for the important work that you do for women and for the entire church! You can subscribe to their newsletter and learn more about BWIM here. (February 2022 edition lists my article under “BWIM Social Media & Blog Series” here.)
