Happy Easter! Jesus has risen, just as he said he would. He is not dead, but alive! This is why we celebrate Easter. This is why it matters so much what Jesus has done. His death as the sacrificial perfect Lamb (and Suffering Servant) paid the price for now and forevermore our failings with a Holy God.
Jesus made a way when we had no way to make it right. This is why Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection (the empty tomb) matters. He REALLY was no ordinary man. He REALLY was more than just a great teacher with powers to heal the blind and the sick. As Son of God, He worked wonders and Peter (and others who realize this) confess that Jesus is the Messiah; He is the Christ. He did not look like how we thought He would look or do the things we thought he would do however when you investigate for yourself you will recognize Jesus’ love for you when you see him and other Christians willingly suffer and die.
But this was almost 2000 years ago that this happened. As we celebrate Jesus’ victory over the grave (just as He said), the question now here in 2021 remains-
Who is Jesus to YOU ⁉️
No one else can answer this for you and live it out in your life for you. Only you and your actions show who is Lord over your life. My Lord and Savior is Jesus. I don’t get it right all the time (and that’s not the point). I live my life in submission to God recognizing that although I have thoughts and desires, it is not my will but God’s. He has all the power, I just try to look like I know what I’m doing. 😂 Seriously, I know how much I fall short and God does too. He loved me anyway to stay on that cross and fulfill the will of God the Father.
If you want to know more about what a life with God means, please reach out to your local Bible believing church. I admit there are many who twist God’s words and ways to suit their own interests but dont let that stop you from seeking a true life and a deeper relationship with God and His people. There are genuine Christians among us. You will spot them by the fruit of their life. As you read the Bible on your own with the help of the Holy Spirit, He will lead you to believers and circumstances that will help lead you to the Truth.
