Bible Break on Thursdays Mark 8

This is the last video for the first half of going through the book of Mark together with you! I’ve enjoyed creating these videos with a special group of ladies in mind, but I hear they don’t meet during the summer. So, I am pausing this series and, God-willing, will create the second half of Mark (Mark chapters 9-16) during the Fall semester (or if there is interest!). This means that you now have all 10 videos I’ve recorded for you from the first half of Mark! Remember, these videos and documents will be available online for anyone interested in reviewing them here. May these resources be helpful and encouraging to you wherever you are in your journey of pondering, “Who is this Jesus?” And even further, if this is Jesus, the Messiah (as Peter proclaimed in Mark 8:29b), what does this mean for the world? And what does this mean for us, now, today in our lives in 2025??

As usual, I’m sharing 3 points from the chapter, this week we’re on Mark Chapter 8. Download the handout below for the specifics if you like to see things on paper. Afterwards, I introduce a spiritual practice, Just BE-ing with God, to try this week. Finally I close our time together with a prayer for you in your journey.
